Adding maintenance jobs and quotes

The steps below outline how to add maintenance jobs and quotes to the property record in Jupix.

Viewing existing maintenance jobs

On the property record is a tab called Property Management - this takes you to a section that includes maintenance.  

  1. Click the Residential Lettings department tab
  2. Click Property on the main homebar
  3. Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
  4. Click the Property Management tab
  5. Scroll down to the Maintenance Jobs section. Here, you can filter the Date Reported between the last 7 or 30 days, or any, and filter the Status as required, to view the relevant maintenance jobs. Then, click View alongside the relevant job to view it in more detail

Creating a new maintenance job

  1. Click New Maintenance Job
  2. Complete as many of the Maintenance Job Details fields as is possible with information required for the job
  3. Select Yes or No as to whether you want to Add a contractor now (you can always do this later if you wanted to speak to the landlord first)
  4. If Yes, search for and select the Contractor Name, or click Add New Contact to create a new contractor
  5. To add their quote, select Yes alongside Have you received a quote from this contractor (again, you can always do this later)
  6. Enter their quote Amount and any Details
  7. Finally, select Yes or No as to whether you want to instruct the contractor now, and confirm the Instruction Details
  8. Click Save
