Question:

Why is there a rented property showing in my sales when I accept their offer?

Solution:

When on the commercial tab in Jupix, it is possible to market a property for sale and for rent, because of this there is an option to have leases offers on the same property.

The ‘Leases’ tab is for the properties that are To Let, and the ‘Offers’ tab is for properties for sale.

To process a Lease you will need to go to the ‘Leases’ tab on the property record, and then click ‘New Lease’

You will need to find the applicant on the system and fill in all the details for the new lease including the dates. Once completed, click save.

This will then put the lease as ‘Awaiting Landlord Approval’ and will give you the option to ‘Landlord Approve’ and ‘Landlord Decline’

You will then be able to progress the lease from here.
