If an Applicant, Contact, or Property record is locked and needs to be modified by someone else, other members of staff will see the following message.
They'll be unable to modify the record as it's not possible to unlock a record that has been locked by another user.
Records can only be unlocked by the user who locked it.
Applicant record
To unlock an Applicant record that you've locked:
- Click Applicants on the main homebar
- Search for the relevant applicant in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant applicant from within the Last Viewed section
- From the Summary tab, scroll down to the Applicant Ownership section and click Edit Applicant Ownership
- Untick Record Locked
- Click Save
Contact record
To unlock a Contact record that you've locked:
- Click Contacts on the main homebar
- Search for the relevant contact in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant contact from within the Last Viewed section
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant contact from within the Last Viewed section
- From the Summary tab, scroll down to the Contact Details section and click Edit Contact Details
- Scroll down and untick Record Locked
- Click Save
Property record
To unlock a Property record that you've locked:
- Click Property on the main homebar
- Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
- From the Summary tab, scroll down to the Property Details section and click Edit Property Details
- Untick Record Locked
- Click Save
