Set the Image Uploader to Java

The steps below outline how you can set your default image uploader to Java (if ActiveX isn't working).

  1. On the Jupix Home screen, click Your Account (xxxx Account) at the top left of your screen

  2. Scroll down to the Image Uploader Preferences section. In the Default Image Uploader dropdown menu, click Java
  3. Click Save

One of the ways you can tell if you have Java installed is when you upload new photos on a property record.

  1. Click Property on the main homebar
  2. Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
  3. Click the Media tab
  4. In the Photos section, click Upload New Photos
  5. The following screen displays whilst loading:

    If the uploader doesn't load, you'll need to install the correct version of Java from the following link: click here
  6. A popup message appears asking if you want to Run, Save, or Cancel the Java download installer. Click Run
    1. You may have a windows access control window appear, asking Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? Click Yes
  7. In the Java Setup window, click Install
  8. Once complete, click Close
    1. A popup message may appear in your browser asking you to Enable Java. Click Enable 

You can now return to Jupix and try uploading new photos again.

  1. Click Property on the main homebar
  2. Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
  3. Click the Media tab
  4. In the Photos section, click Upload New Photos
    1. If it didn't earlier, a popup message may appear in your browser asking you to Enable Java. Click Enable
  5. An Internet Explorer Security popup message appears. Tick Do not show me the warning for this program again. This stops the message appearing every time
  6. Click Allow
  7. The image uploader loads and you can now browse through your folders to find the location of the photos. Be aware that shortcut folders won't appear
  8. Tick which photo(s) you would like to upload. Multiple photos can be selected at one time
    1. A popup message may appear in your browser asking for access. Click Allow
  9. Click Send
  10. An Upload complete message appears, confirming that the photos have been uploaded
