Occasionally, when you upload images to a property record, they may appear in the wrong orientation, i.e. the wrong way round or upside down.
This article includes:
Amending the orientation of a portrait image
When uploading a portrait image, depending on the settings that were selected when saving the image on the camera, sometimes Windows defaults to displaying it as a landscape image by turning the image on its side.
To rectify this, you'll need to rotate the selected image.
- Click Property on the main homebar
- Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
- Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
- Click the Media tab
- In the Photos section, click Edit below the relevant photo
- Click Download Original
- Right click on the image and click Save picture as
- Save the image to your desktop
- Open the image in Paint and click Rotate to rotate it the correct way round
- Once rotated, click Save
- On Jupix, click Upload New Photos
- Select the correct image and click Save
- Click Delete on the incorrect image
- Type in the 4 digit Deletion Code in the Please Enter Code field and click Confirm Delete
Amending the orientation of the original image
If you've just uploaded images to a property record and they're showing the wrong way up, this is due to a setting in Windows which is trying to read the photo in a way it believes it should appear.
To rectify this, you'll need to open the original photo on your computer.
- Right-click on them as they appear in your Pictures folder, or wherever else you have them saved
- Click Rotate left or Rotate right
- Alternatively, click Edit with Photos
- Once open, click Rotate or Flip, as required
- Click Save or Save a copy
When you re-upload the image to the property in Jupix, it'll now appear the correct way up.
