In some cases, you will need to enter credentials in order to open and save documents in Jupix, such as:
- When downloading The Letting Centre (TLC) documents from Edit Documents (see Stage 2)
- If your documents are opening as Read Only and Word is prompting you to save a document locally to your PC (see Stage 1 and Stage 2)
- If you are using Word 2007 and Word is prompting you to save a document locally to your PC (sSee Stage 1 and Stage 2)
- If you receive an error message when trying to save a document stating Word did not save the document (see Stage 1 and Stage 2)
Stage 1
To resolve any of the above saving issues, you need to prompt Jupix to ask for your credentials when opening a document. To do this:
- Click on your account settings under Home
- Scroll down to the Document Preferences section
- Ensure the tickbox next to Use Legacy Documents is ticked
- Click Save
