Property record - the Media tab

The steps below outline how to use the Media section of the property record.

  1. Click Property on the main homebar
  2. Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
  3. Click the Media tab

Photos

The Photos section is for your marketing photos of the property.

The photos need to be downloaded from your camera to a suitable file on your PC. They can then be uploaded using the image uploader.

  1. Click Property on the main homebar
  2. Search for the relevant property in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant property from within the Last Viewed section
  3. Click the Media tab
  4. In the Photos section, click Upload New Photos
  5. Once the image uploader loads, click Add Files to browse through your folders to find the location of the photos. Select the photo(s) you would like to upload (either drag and drop, or, hold Ctrl to select multiple photos), then click Open
  6. Click, drag and drop the photos in to the order that you wish for them to appear in brochures and on portals. You may also want to edit the photo names - to do so, double-click the name under the photo and rename as required
  7. Click Save
  8. The percentage bar increases and the photos turn yellow to indicate they've been uploaded. A final Upload Complete message then appears, confirming that all photos have been uploaded

You'll automatically return back to the Photos section and the first photo displays as the thumbnail of your property record.

Floorplans

Floorplans can be in virtually any picture format, although the same size limitations as with photos still apply.

  1. Click on Upload New Floorplans to open a screen that lets you Browse through your folders to find the location of the floorplan(s)
  2. Type in a Description for each floorplan
  3. Click Save

Public media

The Public media section is for you to be able to upload such things as Virtual Tours or pre made .pdf particulars. This section will be able to be viewed by the public via your website and portals, so only include items that you want to be seen.

  1. Click on Upload Media File to open a screen that lets you Browse through your folders to find the file to upload
  2. Enter a (Media) Description of the file
  3. The (Media) Type of file could be a Virtual Tour, Brochure PDF or a Word Document 
  4. Click Save

  1. Click on Add Media Link to open a screen that lets you enter a web address link to a specific external website or virtual tour
  2. Enter a (Media) Description of the media link to help identify what it is
  3. The (Media) Type of link could be a Virtual Tour Link or an External Website Link 
  4. Click Save

  1. Click on Create New Brochure if you wish to create a new brochure or window card for use with the website and mailouts
  2. Select the appropriate Brochure Template
  3. Enter a Brochure Name
  4. Click Save

EPC

The EPC section is for uploading the various options of EPC.

  1. Click on Add Link To Public EPC PDF to type the web address of where the EPC is stored. It may be the website of the Energy Assessor
  2. Click Save

  1. Click on Upload EPC Media to choose the EPC Media Type you are going to use. This could be the EPC Front Page, the EPC Graph or the Full EPC Report
  2. You can manually enter the EPC Graph Units, if applicable
  3. Click Save

  1. Click on Choose EPC Provider to select the supplier that will or has carried out the assessment
  2. Click Save

  1. Click on EPC Not Required if the property doesn't require an EPC
  2. Click Save
