Add an appointment type

When adding an appointment in the Diary, you have to select an Event Type. If you want to add additional appointment types, you can do so, and even colour code them. 


You will need access to Admin, and, you will need the System Configuration permission enabled on your user account. Your appointed office Admin will have access to these permissions from within Manage Users

  1. Click Admin on the main homebar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click System Configuration
  3. Scroll down to the Diary section. Alongside Appointment Types, click Edit 
  4. Click Add New Appointment Type
    1. You can also Edit existing appointment types
  5. In the Appointment Type field, type the name of the appointment you wish to create 
  6. Click the Colour field to bring up the colour palette. Here you can select what colour you wish the appointment to appear as, in the diary
  7. Click Save


Appointment Types can't be deleted. If one is no longer required, this will need to be over-typed with a new Appointment Type
