Document file types in Jupix

Within Jupix, there are compatible document file types for when you are creating and uploading documents and brochures. The two file types that Jupix will accept are:

  • Word 2003 XML Document (*.xml)
  • Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)

The file that is most compatible will depend on where in the system it's created and whether it's a brochure or document.

Creating a new document template

You'll need to save the word document as a Word 2003 XML file type. You can amend the file type in Word when you save the document.

  1. Click File
  2. Click Save As
  3. In the File type dropdown menu, click Word 2003 XML Document (*.xml)
  4. Click Save

Creating a document via a record within the Notes section

  1. On a record, click the Notes tab
  2. Click Create Word Document

Documents will need to be saved as a Word 97-2003 (*.doc) and will export from Jupix as this file type.

Creating a property brochure within the Media section on a property record

  1. On a Property record, click the Media tab
  2. Scroll down to the Public Media section and click Create New Brochure

Documents will need to be saved as a Word 97-2003 (*.doc).

Uploading an external brochure into a Jupix record

If property brochures are being uploaded from an external source, they'll need to be converted to a .pdf and uploaded.

  1. On a Property record, click the Media tab
  2. Scroll down to the Public Media section and click Upload Media File

When uploading brochures as a media file, you'll have the option to select which type of .pdf you are uploading.

To feed a brochure to websites and portals, and, to be able to email them to contacts:

  1. In the Media Type dropdown menu, click Brochure PDF
  2. Tick the relevant option as to where the brochure should be available

Uploading documents into Jupix

Documents uploaded into Jupix should be in .pdf format.
