When you send an email from Jupix (rather than from your email client), we send the email from our email sending service (Sendgrid) on your behalf but in such a way that the replies to these emails are sent back to your email addresses.
When the emails are received into the recipient's mailbox, the recipient's email provider will check to make sure that we are allowed to send these emails on your behalf, and to make sure that the emails are 'authenticated' and have not been tampered with. If these checks are not passed, the emails may be treated as phishing attempts or spam, and are highly likely to be rejected.
What do you need to do?
You will need to ask your own IT Support or Email Domain provider to make some changes to the DNS of your domain, our Support Team are unable to access the DNS to do this for you.
- Ensure you have a TXT record which defines your SPF record, and ensure that it contains include:sendgrid.net
- Ensure you have a valid TXT record defining your DMARC policy, with a value of 'v=DMARC1; p=none;'
(Note - The 'p' value can be stricter if required) - Add 3x CNAME records to authenticate emails sent through Jupix's email sending service, Sendgrid
The Jupix Support team can advise on the content of each of the above, but this has to be done on an individual basis for each client, especially with the CNAME records which have to be specially generated. Therefore, you should contact Jupix Support for the exact DNS changes required.
