Add an additional deposit

If you need to, you can add an additional deposit, or increase the amount of deposit held on a tenancy.

  1. Click the Residential Lettings department tab
  2. Click Tenancies on the main homebar
  3. Search for the relevant tenancy in the Find bar and click Go. Click View on the relevant record
    1. Alternatively, find and click the relevant tenancy from within the Last Viewed section
  4. On the tenancy Summary, click Special Actions
  5. Click Add Deposit
    1. If Add Deposit isn't shown, click here
  6. Using the dropdown menu, select which tenant you are going to Raise Invoice Against
  7. Select the Date Payment Due
  8. Edit the original deposit amount displayed to the value of the additional Deposit Amount (¬£) required 
  9. Type a Description if required
  10. Click Save

A record of the deposit demand can be found on the Tenant Ledger and a record of the additional deposit can be found if you click on the Deposit tab.

Once funds have been received, the additional deposit will be available to transfer to the relevant location.
